So you want to know exactly what you can expect from the content in this site, do you? You want to know exactly how much of your time its going to take to read a written piece or exactly what genre a piece of music is before you decide if you want to listen to it? And you want spoilers as to what's coming in future updates so you can decide whether or not you want to come back?
Sorry. You got the wrong site.
Here, the original concept of authentic creativity still prevails, where you can either be surprised or disappointed by what happens next. Where you have to wait and see if the next batch of creative output is a success or not. That's because this is a creative domain, not a production line of formatted packages of easily digestible and predictable content. Call me beligerent, but I expect your brain to work a bit while you're here. In fact, that is the entire point of this domain. I expect you to use your imagination and your own powers of visualisation.
That's why I created A.T.O.M.. It stands for: Absolute Theatre Of Mind - a domain of almost no visual stimulus to put preconceived ideas into your head. I spent a lot of time putting ideas into people's heads in the advertising industry many years ago and got sick of it. Here you will find mostly words and music, sometimes a combination of the two, to stimulate your own visual perception in whatever direction it wants to go. Words and music that will paint different pictures for different people and, hopefully, drop you into a world that's mostly of your own making.
However, if you get a hankering for some visual content, you might like The Mechanics Of Life series of insights. That's because in a how-to-do manual, visual support speaks volumes. There are charts and diagrams to - literally - give you a clear picture of what The Mechanics Of Life is about. Go take a look and see for yourself here.
So if you have an imagination and, hopefully, a sense of humour, then you got the right site after all. At some point in early 2024, my old and new music will be available on most streaming platforms. The only thing being punted here is perspective.
So make a cup of tea, pour a glass of something or just open a bottle - whatever - and take some time out to see what you can see.
